Our very favorite day of the year!

Ever since we opened in 1991 Cast Images has donated 5% of our annual earnings to charity.
This year we chose to honor people and pets: Bard Prison Initiative, Sacramento Shelter Pets Alive, Bad Rap, & Planned Parenthood. Please check them out, and be sure to watch the PBS documentary “College Behind Bars.” Amazing.

What a week!

Our superstar Lillian Ellis' (and Bay Area friends) project The Butterfly Effect has created over 45,000 butterflies to stand in solidarity with migrant children. This week their work is installed at the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington DC and they garnered praise (and a meeting!) with Nancy Pelosi and others.

On top of that, Lilly's musical group, The Alphabet Rockers, was nominated for their second Grammy for Best Children's Album. Way to go Lilly! We're all so proud of you!
